Welcome to De Hotel Suite, the online reflection of my professional studio.

My name is Francis De Hotel. I am a Canadian-born, Paris-based composer, sound designer and music producer. I am also a member of SACEM.

After studying music and cinema at university, I made a rewarding foray into film and television as a director and screenwriter. Music, later on, rejoined my professional life when I was commissioned to compose and produce original soundtracks for a number of film and television productions.

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Hachette Film Office, Unesco, France Television and Cinedoc Productions are among the partners I have had the pleasure to collaborate with over the years.

My work has received a few prizes and accolades at a number of film and music events such as the Banff World Television Festival, the Gemini Awards, the Yorkton Film Festival and the United Kingdom Songwriting Contest.
